Emery || 2 Months

Sweet Emery girl turned 2 months old September 7th. She had her first social smile at 5 weeks old, and it was just the best little gift to brighten up our lives. She’s really becoming a chatty little girl and is ever so happy in the evenings. She has a deep love for her lion toy with really big eyes, it was Theo’s favorite too. She’s quite content to lay on her playmat during her awake time. This month we finally have a eat, play, sleep routine down. Em still fights going to sleep, but she’s starting to get better. Her wake windows are about 60-75 minutes before she’s getting sleepy again. Hell have no wrath like an overtired Emery. She fights sleep in a way that we like to call “Emery’s last stand” because she goes from screaming for a solid bit to sound asleep. Clearly our lives feel like they revolve around sleep.
