Baby Lattice Quilt

Gears shifted hard over here from sewing everything curved for my January block quilt, to sewing a fun twist on the baby lattice quilt by Amy Smart @ A Diary of a Quilter. I had so much fun pulling fabrics from my stash and playing with the colors for this quilt. It was a custom order for a friend of ours, that she gifted to her cousin. She also ordered a bibs, burp cloths and paci clips too. It honesty was fun to get to sew a whole ensemble of items that went together.

Before I started sewing I gave Grace two of my favorite color paths that I had been playing with that were similar with what we had been talking about. She chose the one on the right, but the one on the left may have to get made too, those colors just speak to me.

Admittedly I finished this quilt at the end of September, and I haven’t sewn a thing since. Next up I should really finish my Christmas stockings, I have everything I need, except the motivation. Do you have any projects on your plate you have been lacking the motivation to start? Should we make a pact to get them started… by 2020?
